Bob has spoken to our society before, several years ago, and this time his talk will be based on work that his company ASC (Archaeological Services & Consultancy Ltd) has carried out on a wide range of structures in the region. |

The third workshop meeting for our survey of the earthworks of North Buckinghamshire. We should now have the map information from the various sources all on the same scale to enable us to investigate further. |

Brian Dix will be talking to us about Kirby Hall and its gardens. Brian has done extensive work on the restoration of the gardens at Kirby Hall. The society visited Kirby Hall back in 1999 for the annual picnic. |

Judy is one of our members and has done considerable research into the subject.

A walk round the parish of Marston Moreteyne.
Philip and Sheila Hall will be our guides for a wander round the parish,
taking in the church and a moated farm.
Marston Moreteyne (appears incorrectly as Moretaine on maps) is the other side of
Cranfield from Milton Keynes, south of Kempston and bypassed by the A421.
Meet at the church (with the tower) at 7.30pm. |

Annual Picnic.Annual Picnic. A visit to St Albans to see the Roman sites, Cathedral and Museum.
The museum opens at 2.00pm, so we will have time for lunch and a quick tour of the Roman sites before it opens, and hopefully a look at the cathedral later.

Phil Hall, the society Chairman will be talking to us about The Construction of Timber Framed Buildings. Phil has done extensive research into the subject after being involved in an excavation of a medieval building a few years ago. |
