Monday 6th March 2000 8.00pm The City Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes Steve Ford from the Thames Valley Archaeological Unit will be speaking to us about the Fenny Lock Excavation at the Tescos warehouse site.
You may recall that many of us were involved, a couple of years ago, with a small excavation at this site as a society after the main excavation had finished.

The City Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes Andy Chapman from Northamptonshire Archaeology will be speaking to us about The Bronze Age Barrow Cemetery at Gayhurst
Monday 5th June 2000 7.30pm Stony Stratford, Starting at the Market Square A guided walk around Stony Stratford which will introduce some of the important events and buildings in the town. Meet in the Market Square at 7.30pm.
The walk will last about an hour and a half.

Monday 3rd July 2000 8.00pm The City Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes Annual General Meeting. Discussion of current projects:- The planned excavations at Tickford Abbey, fieldwork in Moulsoe and any constitutional issues.
Sunday 16th July 2000 12.00pm Kenilworth Castle, Warwickshire Annual Picnic. The famous mediaeval castle at Kenilworth is anEnglish Heritage site.
Meet at 10:30am at the Wayfarer Car park, Willen Lake, or 12:00pm on site.
Admission : Adults £3.50, Concessions £2.60 Children £1.80 (free admission for under-5's)

As this is a fund raising event, there is a £5 charge (£6 for non members). Food is provided. Please contact Alison if you can make it.

Monday 2nd October 2000 8.00pm The City Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes Pot reconstruction with Richard Ivens
Continuing the work on the large quantity of finds from the Potterspury dig in May 2000. Fabric analysis & identification, and the chance to reconstruct some the 17th century local pottery.
Monday 6th November 2000 8.00pm The City Discovery Centre, Bradwell Abbey, Milton Keynes Richard Jones of The University of Birmingham will be talking to us about the Whittlewood Project, and our involvement (field walking etc.) with it.
Whittlewood is an area on the North Bucks/South Northants border, and the project aims to answer specific questions regarding the origins and development of both nucleated and dispersed mediaeval settlement.
Saturday 2nd December 2000 8.00pm Isabel's House Isabel will be host the Annual Christmas Party this year (technically the last one of the Millennium)..
